I can't believe I made it to the scheduled date!!! I thought for sure she would come early, but she decided to have pity on her mommy and go with the plan.
We arrived bright an early at the hospital at 7am for a 9am Cesarean, but unfortunately it turned out to be a very busy day full of emergencies, so Kaitlyn and I had to wait and wait and wait....
This is a pictures of me some where in that 7 hour long wait with nothing to do but stare at the walls.

At 2:06pm Kaitlyn Diane arrived!!! All 8 pounds 5 ounces and 19 1/2 inches of her. She had a bit too much fluid in her lungs which made the first couple of minutes scary, but she is 100% healthy with a set of strong lungs on her.

Later in the day, Zachary came to meet his sister for the firs time. He did okay. He kept saying "baby go, baby go".
That is until he got to see Kaitlyn eat, which was very intriguing. Now he calls it boobie milk.

Congratulations Kathy! You look great! Zachary is such a proud brother! Glad Kaitlyn is fine. I was scheduled for a cesarean at 5 pm and had to wait until 8 am because of emergencies with other babies. She is adorable!
