I decided it was time to take Zachary out of his Early Intervention school starting June 1st. He had stayed 4 months past his time to leave, and it felt like he was ready to move on to new things. I was sad to see him leave, but also excited to start a new phase for him.
I am bound and determined to home school Zachary but dreaded the thought of having to come up with a curriculum on my own. Scouring blogs and web sites just seemed out of the question due to time restrictions and basically it is just mind numbing to me. But I was going to do it anyway.
One evening, just by accident, I found this wonderful web site that offered an affordable preschool curriculum. Admittedly, its not perfect. Sometimes I tweak it here and there for him, and some things are above his level. But we are just loving it. It has only been a few weeks, but it has helped us all so much. I'm a bit tired from the extra effort it is taking and I feel like I'm running a preschool, but by the results I'm getting with Zachary, it is so worth it.
Seems like I always take pictures during the art projects, I'll have to work on other projects too
