6 Months Today

Today is Kaitlyn's 6 month birthday. Hard for me to believe it is that time already. She is growing so fast and find it hard to remember her not being a part of my family. The best gift of all is to see the love in both Kaitlyn's and Zachary's eyes when they look at each other. I so hope that will last a life time for them both. I love to watch them play together. Zachary is willing to share at this point, but I see many fights in the near future.

Kaitlyn is just starting to sit on her own for a few seconds. She loves her toys and is always reaching out for a truck of Zachary's. She has just started trying new foods out and seems to love everything so far, but her choices and experience are limited, so time will tell. Kaitlyn is still a night owl no matter how I try to change her schedule. It seems like the clock strikes 9pm and she is ready to rock and roll. She is always full of smiles and conversation until about 11pm. I have to admit I do love that time I get to share will her one on one, but it does make 6am come way too fast. I just keep reminding myself to enjoy our time together now as one day I will be up late wondering why she isn't home yet.
