He enjoyed washing the carrots for me. Once they were cleaned he had to start over and clean them all over again. But eventually, They got clean enough to be peeled and cut up. I was actually pretty excited that while we were fixing the carrots, he wanted to eat some. Of course, once they were in front of him for dinner, he wouldn’t touch them, but I actually got some into him today. Quite an accomplishment!

And then we made brownies, which was a challenge since we wanted to eat the batter. Like his Mommy, he does love anything chocolate. He wanted to taste each ingredient as it went into the bowl. It was hard to understand that they are "yucky" by themselves, but "yummy!!!" when it's all done. We finally got the mixer going and he like this part better, he forgot about tasting for a minute or two. I was a bit disappointed that I couldn’t get a better picture of him, but this one was the best of the bunch.

Now it’s time for cleanup. This is my least favorite job, I like making the mess, not cleaning it up. But for Zachary, it is his favorite because it involves water and bubbles. They were the best washed dishes ever by the time he was done. Do you think his enthusiasm will last until he can do this on his own? I have serious doubts on that one!
And as a side note, today I discovered that Zachary has finally broken through his last molar. He now has all his 2 year molars. To my surprise, the first 2 came in unnoticed, but this last one was terrible. Guess he saved it all until the end.
So much fun helping mommy! I tried this with Evan but my patience dissolved quicker than salt water! I will try again...and thx for some good ideas!
